1937

GEFA

In 1937 Anders Gustavson, founded a craft business making workwear and later also military garments for the Swedish army. First under the name GEFA and later Blåkläder.

1967

PORTUGAL PRODUCTION

Own production was started in Portugal.

1992

VIETNAM PRODUCTION

We decided to move out of Europe region and start manufacturing garments in Vietnam with our join venture factories.

2006

SRI LANKA PRODUCTION

We decided to have our fully own manufacturing units in Sri Lanka with state of the art machineries

2009

BANGLADESH LIAISON OFFICE

Our liaison office in Bangladesh works directly with the manufacturers, and have complete transparency of the business to our customers.

2017

MYANMAR PRODUCTION

We continued our long term investments in Myanmar by having our own manufacturing units in Myanmar.

2018

CHINA SOURCING OFFICE

In order to strengthen our supply chain & to work with our partners very closely we opened our own sourcing office in Shanghai - China.

2023

SHOE PRODUCTION - SRI LANKA

Our expansion continued with the different product portfolio. Our shoe factory is equipped with state of the art machinery with new robotic technology.

2025

BANGLADESH PRODUCTION

Our manufacturing plant in Bangladesh will resume operations in 2025.
